The Bible tells us “but he that is greatest among you shall be your servant” (Matthew 23:11) The members of St. John Missionary Baptist Church all agree that Pastor Velda C. Peals is truly a Humble Servant of God. She has dedicated her life to the Lord and to SJMBC. We will celebrate Pastor Velda C. Peals’ 10 th Pastoral Anniversary March 10 and 12, 2017. The anniversary’s passage is Psalm 89:15-18.
The theme is entitled:
“Flowing in the Favor of our Lord! We Keep Rolling on in Jesus!”
Commencement of the celebration will be a Cinderella Ball, Friday, March 10, 2017 at Julia’s Banquet Hall located at 101 East Gate Plaza, East Alton, IL 62024 from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm. The Finale will begin Sunday, March 12, 2017 during morning service at 10:45 am with an astounding man of God, Minister Marcus Harrison from Deliverance Temple, Alton, IL delivering the message. The Lord has sent us a wonderful woman of God, Pastor Jeanette Morehouse, Praise Temple Spiritual Church, St. Louis, MO, to preach the word during our afternoon program at 3:00 p.m. It would be a great honor and pleasure for you to share this glorious event with our church family.
